My Chemical Romance-aversary

My Chemical Romance are quite possibly one of the biggest rock bands in the entire world and this year they are celebrating 10 years since their presence exploded onto the music scene. Formed in 2001, My Chemical Romance were little known amongst the rock industry but slowly and surely, they built up to a massive eruption of musical insanity.

2003 saw the bands first major record label signing and the release of ‘Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge’ which included some of their classics ‘I’m Not Okay (I Promise)’ and ‘Helena’ but it was 2006 when MCR made the change from rather awesome rock band to a world wide obsession. The release of their 2006 album ‘The Black Parade’ saw a barrage of singles including ‘Welcome to the Black Parade’, ‘I Don’t Love You’ and ‘Teenagers’ as well as the formation of the MCRmy which has grown in nothing short of epic proportions over the last few years.

In 2009, the release of ‘Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys‘ secured My Chemical Romance’s place in rock history with the entrance of the Fabulous Killjoys. Including songs such as ‘Na Na Na’ (perfect for those of us who struggle with lyrics), ‘S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W’ and ‘Sing’ which was re-released in 2011 as #SINGItforJapan in support of those affected by the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami.

To celebrate the unmatchable awesomeness of My Chemical Romance, we will be stocking two brand new designs which will be available to buy as of this afternoon \m/(>_<)\m/
